Joseph Flesch

Joseph is planning on attending UNC-Chapel Hill this fall to double major in neuroscience and psychology—naturally, psychology with Ms. Martineau was his favorite class at Grimsley.

His favorite Grimsley memory is demolishing Page during the Grimsley-Page football game, which he rightly claims is a victory that incoming freshmen will never understand. Likewise, his favorite Grimsley tradition is throwing up baby powder during kickoffs.

His greatest accomplishments during his time at Grimsley include making A/B honor roll every year, serving as the Volleyball Club President, completing all thirteen years of Spanish Immersion, and participating all four years on the Varsity track team, where he earned the All-Conference Athlete in 2019.

His advice for current or rising students is: “Try your best, always spend time with your friends, and enjoy everything you can in high school!”

In the future, Joseph looks forward most to meeting new people and having new experiences in college.
